A little about me

I’m Danleigh, the owner of Danleigh Sokerov Counselling, your go-to space for trauma-informed care, whether online or in person in Willoughby, Langley, BC.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor proudly associated with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, I bring a wealth of knowledge cultivated through academic pursuits, holding a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queen’s University. My professional journey spans private practice, crisis line intervention, and finance management, equipping me with the maturity, experience, and versatile skill set to effectively tackle a range of concerns.

  • Life’s diverse experiences have woven a rich tapestry for me, enriching my ability to connect with you on a personal level. I have traversed the realms of neurodiversity, pregnancy, parenting, trauma, conflict, and loss among others.

    Away from the counseling room, you’ll find me soaking up joy in precious moments with my family, whether we’re gliding on skates or engaging in a spirited game of pickleball. As for me-time, I’m an avid hiker, finding solace and inspiration immersed in nature.
